Quartus Engineering, based in San Diego, seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead small to mid-sized engineering programs, serving as the primary liaison between Quartus and clients, from inception to completion.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 6+ years in imaging optical systems or related fields, with experience guiding interdisciplinary teams, defining scope, budget, and staffing, plus strong communication skills in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering field – Mechanical, Optical, Electrical, Aerospace or similar discipline
• 6+ years of experience in related areas such as Applied imaging optical systems, Opto-Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Optical or Electrical
• Experience managing a team of interdisciplinary engineers on technical development programs
• Experience defining scope, budget and staffing requirements for technical development projects
• Schedule development and management
• Strong aptitude for customer interaction and communication
• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)

Responsibilities

• Overseeing scope, schedule, and budget
