Job summary

Shutterfly in California is seeking part-time Outdoor Photographers to join the JCPenney Portraits team. The role focuses on capturing engaging photos, guiding customers through the sales process, and delivering a memorable session experience. Paid training is provided.

Applicants should be at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. A fun, upbeat attitude and customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous retail, sales, service-related or photography experience preferred.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop rapport with children and adults.
• Basic math and computer skills.

What You’ll Do Here

• Capture photos that are fun and creative to exceed the customers’ expectations
• Perform the sales process to achieve Sales Average expectations
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions
• Provide a wonderful customer experience

The Skills You’ll Bring

• Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous retail, sales, service-related or photography experience preferred.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ability to quickly develop a good rapport with children and adults.
• Basic math and computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry).
• Ability to work in multiple studios (where applicable) based on business needs.

Pay Rate: $19.00
