We are hiring a Real Estate Photographer & Field Rep to serve the greater Raleigh region. This is a hybrid role designed for someone who enjoys both hands‑on photography work and in‑person relationship building with real estate offices and agents.

This position blends traditional real estate media assignments with scheduled field outreach, including office stop‑bys, presentations, and occasional event representation. It is an excellent fit for someone who wants variety in their week, strong earning potential, and a visible role representing a trusted local brand.

Your Role

Media Professional (Media pro)

• Capture photos and other assigned media services for residential and commercial properties
• Interact professionally with clients, agents, and homeowners on site
• Maintain quality, consistency, and brand standards
• Be willing to learn and grow into additional services such as video and aerial work
• Control your own calendar and block off time as needed

Field Representative Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑person office stop‑bys at real estate brokerages and teams
• Drop off marketing materials and build relationships with office staff and agents
• Schedule and assist with on‑site or virtual presentations
• Represent Next Door Photos at select events and local industry functions
• Provide feedback from the field to help guide local growth and partnerships

Field work is typically scheduled during specific blocks of time and may vary week to week based on production demand.

Compensation (General Overview)

This is a 1099 contract position with compensation structured around both production and field activities.

• Fixed pay per media job type
• Media work typically averages the equivalent of $30–$40/hour, depending on job mix
• Field outreach and event work are compensated separately through a mix of per‑activity pay and higher‑impact bonuses
• Mileage pay offered

• Wide‑angle lens (14/15/16mm for full frame or 9–10mm for 1.5x crop, or equivalent)
• Newer smartphone (within the last few years)
