Job summary

Nexstar Media Group is seeking a News Photographer based in Panama City, Florida. You will shoot video for news reports, confer with staff on assignments, and set up, compose and execute shots for broadcasts and digital content.

You'll maintain equipment, edit video clips for TV and eMedia, and operate live microwave/satellite trucks in remote scenarios. High school diploma and 2+ years of shooting experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Minimum two years’ experience operating video recording equipment.
  • Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
  • Proficiency with video recording equipment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work any shift.

The News Photographer operates television or video cameras to record images or scenes for news reports.
