Job summary

Blinds To Go is seeking a passionate photographer to join our Marketing team and lead the creation of high-quality visual assets for brand campaigns and retail content.

You will own the photography process from concept to final delivery, coordinating shoots at showrooms or customer homes and delivering product and lifestyle imagery that reflects an elevated editorial aesthetic. A strong portfolio and hands-on, organized approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years producing photo assets for direct-to-consumer business.
• Experience managing multiple creative projects and meeting deadlines.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product photography and lifestyle/room imagery.
• Proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop; on-location lighting and equipment fluency.
• Hands-on, highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own the photography pipeline end-to-end: concept development, shot lists, location, talent, styling and prop sourcing, lighting setup, capture, retouching, color correction, and final file delivery.
• Coordinate on-location shoots at showrooms or customer homes
• Produce product and lifestyle imagery that reflects an elevated, editorial aesthetic
• Plan shoots against the marketing calendar with content strategy and design teams
• Maintain color, lighting, and compositional consistency with brand standards
• Organize and maintain a searchable photo library/DAM system
• Manage post-production workflow: editing, retouching, batch processing, and file formatting for different channel specs
• Stay current on photography trends in home/interiors content and social formats

Blinds To Go is seeking a passionate and talented photographer to join our Marketing team. The photographer is a key member of the content team, responsible for creating high-quality visual assets that support our marketing initiatives. Working closely with Marketing managers and the creative team, the photographer is responsible to conceptualize, plan, and produce a broad range of photography that supports the marketing initiatives and brand campaigns. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented photographer with experience in all aspects of photo production, from pre-production planning and shooting to re-touching and final asset delivery. They must be a self-starter with strong project management skills who are able to work independently and collaborate with others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the photography pipeline end-to-end: concept development, shot lists, location, talent, styling and prop sourcing, lighting setup, capture, retouching, color correction, and final file delivery
• Coordinate on-location shoots at showrooms or customer homes
• Produce product and lifestyle and room-setting imagery that reflects an elevated, editorial aesthetic
• Partner with the content strategy and design teams to plan shoots against the marketing calendar, campaign launches, and seasonal needs
• Maintain color, lighting, and compositional consistency with brand visual standards, including accurate representation of colorways and material texture
• Organize and maintain a searchable, well-tagged photo library/DAM system
• Manage post-production workflow: editing, retouching, batch processing, and file formatting for different channel specs (social, web, print, etc.)
• Stay current on photography trends in home/interiors content and social-first formats (Reels, Pinterest, etc.)

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years producing photo assets for direct-to-consumer business
• Experience managing multiple creative projects at once – ability to prioritize and handle project changes and meet deadlines
• A portfolio demonstrating strong product photography and lifestyle/room imagery
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop; on-location lighting and equipment fluency
• Very hands-on, strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to listen and collaborate with others
• Self-motivated, critical thinker, problem solver, team player
• Able to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with strong sense of ownership and accountability

We will set-up the new hire for success by having him/her work in our showrooms for 3-4 months to understand our business paradigm and develop key relationships within our organization.
