Job summary

The New York Times' Wirecutter is seeking a photo editor and operations coordinator to keep our Store- and editorial-focused photo pipeline running smoothly. You will ensure photographers can focus on shooting and that workflows, logistics, and day-to-day editing are handled with care and consistency.

You'll work from our Long Island City studio in New York, collaborating with editors, designers, audience and marketing partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in photo editing/ops within editorial or media environments.
• Experience coordinating shoots and managing photo workflows.
• Ey e for visual storytelling; ability to select and refine images to support narratives.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and familiarity with asset management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for Store and editorial shoots, calendars, and collaborators.
• Edit and select images as a photo editor for Wirecutter Store and editorial packages.
• Manage day-to-day post-production and asset organization across Store and editorial surfaces.
• Collaborate with marketing, commerce and product teams on asset needs and timelines.
