Job summary

Decision Point seeks a Phoenix City Director to lead ministry efforts across the Phoenix area, blending evangelism, church partnership development, student coaching, volunteer engagement, and strategic growth.

You will build a coalition of churches, pastors, and believers to support a student-led gospel movement on campuses, developing relationships with students and church leaders while equipping young people to share the gospel.

Qualifications

• Ministry leadership experience in a church or para-church setting.
• Experience recruiting, building, and leading teams.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coach Youth Pastors & Leaders: Build relationships with churches, pastors, parents, educators, and community partners.
• Mobilize Students: Coach and disciple student leaders, equip them to share the gospel, and train them to reach their schools through the 5 Gospel Challenges.
• Lead Ministry Growth: Cast vision for reaching every student and school across Phoenix and identify opportunities to expand ministry impact.
• Build Teams: Recruit volunteers and emerging leaders while creating a culture of collaboration, courage, and gospel-centered leadership.

Decision Point | Full-Time | Phoenix, AZ

The Opportunity

Decision Point is seeking a Phoenix City Director to lead ministry efforts across the Phoenix area. This role combines evangelism, church partnership development, student coaching, volunteer engagement, and strategic growth.

You’ll build a coalition of churches, pastors, and believers to support a student-led gospel movement on school campuses. You’ll develop relationships with students and church leaders while equipping young people to boldly share the gospel.

Your Impact

1. Coach Youth Pastors & Leaders: Build relationships with churches, pastors, parents, educators, and community partners.
2. Mobilize Students: Coach and disciple student leaders, equip them to share the gospel, and train them to reach their schools through the 5 Gospel Challenges.
3. Lead Ministry Growth: Cast vision for reaching every student and school across Phoenix and identify opportunities to expand ministry impact.
4. Build Teams: Recruit volunteers and emerging leaders while creating a culture of collaboration, courage, and gospel-centered leadership.

Compensation & Support Raising

$50,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Decision Point provides a stable salary along with training, coaching, and support for staff fundraising. Staff are expected to invite churches, friends, family, and other supporters to invest in the ministry.

Additional Details

1. Full-time, 45+ hours/week
2. Significant local travel throughout Phoenix
3. Regular travel for ministry expansion and training
4. Occasional travel for mission trips, conferences, and organizational gatherings
