Roehl Transport, Inc. in the Phoenix area offers an on-the-job CDL training program. You are hired and paid as an employee from day one, training to obtain your CDL while you work.

Training lasts about three weeks and is conducted in Phoenix, after which you’ll begin on-the-job long-haul trucking. Roehl has trained drivers for over 30 years and pays you during training, with earnings around $70k+ once you’re CDL-certified.

Earnings are based on an average of actual Roehl drivers with at least one year of experience.

Job Overview

Phoenix area On-the-Job CDL Training

Roehl will pay you to get your CDL & earn a great living in a job as a truck driver living in the Phoenix area.

If you qualify, Roehl Transport will pay you and train you while you get your CDL, the license you need to be a truck driver. If you are considering a job change, choose a career in the transportation industry.

Here are the basics of the training program:

• You are hired and paid as an employee on day 1.
• Training to obtain your CDL is part of the job.
• You'll be paid while you get your CDL.
• CDL training is three weeks.
• Training is available in Phoenix.
• After you have your CDL, you'll start your on-the-job training as a long haul truck driver.
• If you were to go to a CDL school, you would not get paid while you are training AND you'd have to come up with the tuition for the school.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Follow traffic laws and regulations.

Qualifications

This is a Class A CDL truck driving job with on-the-job CDL training. Some requirements include:

• be at least 21 years old.
• be able to read, write & speak English.
• have held a US or Canadian driver’s license for at least two years.
• be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical & drug testing.
• have a good driving record while driving a personal vehicle.
