Position Details
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Starting Salary: $70,000 per year
  • Weekly Hours: 40-50
  • Standard Shift: 10:00 - 19:00 PST (adjusted for MST, CST, EST)

Role Overview

Seeking an organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and values-driven professional to manage compliance and maintain driver safety standards. Reports to the Senior Director and collaborates with Recruitment, Operations, and Sales teams. Will have direct reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage compliance team and oversee department objectives
  • Hire, train, and onboard staff
  • Monitor performance metrics and improve team efficiency
  • Ensure training materials are current and regulatory knowledge is up-to-date
  • Develop relationships with regulatory officials and monitor regulatory changes
  • Coordinate compliance activities and conduct audits
  • Review driver background checks and reports
  • Maintain compliance systems and documentation
  • Lead special projects and training initiatives
  • Act as liaison with external regulatory agencies
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of experience in regulatory compliance (city, state, federal)
  • 2-4 years of people management experience
  • 2+ years remote work experience
  • Experience in high-volume organizations (500+ employees)
  • Proficient in Google Suite or Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of pupil transportation regulations
  • Experience with Fountain or compliance dashboards
