Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a phlebotomy-oriented team member for the Mankato, MN area. You will transport and set up equipment, welcome volunteer donors, and follow safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Take time to connect with donors and explain the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for volunteers.
• Ensure blood collection meets goals and regulatory safety requirements.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and set up/teardown equipment at donation sites.
