Responsibilities

• Verifying patient identity using two identifiers.
• Performing venipunctures and collecting properly labeled specimens.
• Processing specimens for testing or shipment.
• Performing waived and/or non-waived testing.
• Reviewing clinician orders in the VA system.
• Maintaining professional, compassionate interactions with patients and staff.
