Illinois Nursing Academy is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician Instructor to deliver comprehensive training in our Phlebotomy Technician Program. You will teach both theoretical and hands-on components, guiding students to gain the competencies needed to pass national certification and excel as phlebotomists.

The role involves classroom and lab instruction, supervising clinical practice, and supporting student success while adhering to safety standards and program policies.

Formación

• Must be a certified phlebotomist with a valid certification.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy, including lecture and hands-on drawing sessions

Job Summary:

The Phlebotomy Technician Instructor is responsible for delivering comprehensive training and instruction to students enrolled in our Phlebotomy Technician Program. The instructor will ensure that students gain the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to pass the national certification exam and excel in their roles as Phlebotomist. This position involves teaching theoretical and practical components of the Phlebotomy curriculum, and providing guidance and support to students.

What You’ll Do

Working Conditions:

• The Phlebotomy Technician Instructor will work in a classroom and lab setting.


• May require evening hours to accommodate student schedules.


• Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, demonstrating nursing procedures, and assisting students with hands-on activities.
