Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Broken Bow, OK is seeking a phlebotomist to collect specimens and support patient care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated venipuncture technique with safety needles and venipuncture equipment.
• Ability to handle high patient volumes while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with all departments.
• Proficiency in basic computer use and data entry.
• Carefully follow procedures for specimen collection and processing.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (including drug screens).
• Collect blood and urine specimens using approved techniques and equipment.
• Accession patient and test information into the Care 360 system.
• Process and prepare specimens for testing.
• Obtain billing information and ICD-10 data as needed.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams, patients, and external customers.
