Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is recruiting Phlebotomists to support the Ventura VA Clinic in Ventura, CA. The role involves collecting and labeling specimens, ensuring proper patient identification, and routing samples through the lab per SOPs.

Schedule may change at direction of Ansible or its customers, with exceptional compensation and full benefits. Requirements include a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification, approved training, CPR/BLS, and 1 year of recent patient

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (CPT I/II) required.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course required.
• AHA CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a patient service technician/phlebotomist.
• 2–3 years phlebotomist experience in acute care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs proper specimen collection and labeling procedures used for routine and special procedures.
• Performs all standard laboratory techniques related to phlebotomy such as correcting patient identification, proper collection of samples (volume, tube type, temperature and/or timing conditions) and collection of specimens for urinalysis, 24-hour urines, toxicology and microbiological samples.
• Must accession all specimens in receiving area and ensure timely transport and distribution of specimens to all sections of the laboratory for immediate processing and testing; if unable to deliver samples due to peak workloads, contacts sectional personnel to transport samples.
