Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years as a patient service technician/phlebotomist.
• 2-3 years of phlebotomist experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Must be able to physically perform duties including lifting and bending.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper specimen collection and labeling procedures.
• Accession all specimens in receiving area and ensure timely transport.
• Contact sectional personnel if unable to deliver samples due to peak workloads.
