Kaleida Health in Williamsville is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to provide clerical and patient care support. Responsibilities include registering patients, ordering tests, collecting and processing lab specimens, and performing limited non-complex tests. All incumbents are grandfathered into job requirements.

Required: high school diploma or GED, graduate of a certified phlebotomy program, NYS driver license, and 1 year phlebotomy experience. Position is onsite, part‑time with early shifts.

Job Description

To perform clerical and patient care support by registering, ordering, collecting, processing, distributing clinical lab specimens and/or performing limited non-complex laboratory tests. All incumbents grandfathered into job requirements.

Education And Credentials

High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of certified phlebotomy tech program required. Prior to and during employment in this position, must meet and maintain criteria as per the Fleet Safety Program. Data Entry Alpha Numeric (Hard Copy) required. NYS Drivers License upon hire required. All incumbents grandfathered into job requirements.

Experience

1 year of phlebotomy experience in a lab/hospital setting required.
