Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a 3‑month assignment in Buffalo, NY. You will draw blood samples from patients and prepare them for lab testing while following established procedures and safety rules.

The role involves direct patient contact, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality, and supporting daily clinic operations with a Monday–Friday schedule and 9:00 AM–5:30 PM shifts. Education: high school diploma required; phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience; customer service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a calm, professional atmosphere.
• Maintain required records and documentation with accuracy.
