Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Phlebotomy Certification/Diploma preferred.
• Minimum one year experience with laboratory collection preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in a healthcare practice setting, preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of related organizational policies to administer patient care.
• Working knowledge of computers, especially Word, Excel, and medical software.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and between locations.
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and Office of Inspector General check.

Aufgaben

• Conducts specimen collection, sometimes directly observed.
• Gathers, verifies, and enters patient data onto requisitions.
• Ships specimens to the laboratory on a timely basis.
• Orders and maintains supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness of the collection area.
• Assists the client services team in correcting discrepancies.
• Serves as the liaison between the laboratory and provider.
• Follows company policies, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
• Meets continuous process improvement and/or standardization initiatives.
• Other duties may be assigned.
