Sonic Healthcare USA in West Warwick, RI, is seeking a phlebotomist to provide patient-centered care and accurate specimen collection. The role involves venipuncture, specimen preparation, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position offers a full-time schedule, with regular weekdays (Mon–Fri 8–5) and rotating shifts every third week (11:30-8) plus every third Sat/Sun. Training and growth opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Bonus: 2+ years lab training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Bonus: Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
