Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Per Diem Lab Assistant to prepare patient specimens for analysis and provide technical support within a core laboratory setting. Work is onsite at Pardee UNC Health Care with a 19-hour weekly schedule.

Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. No licensure is required, and prior experience is not mandatory. The role supports daily laboratory operations and quality control tasks.

• Performs specimen processing procedures. Provides quality control and equipment maintenance.
