Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Phlebotomy or lab specimen training program preferred.
• Direct patient care/phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates accuracy in laboratory specimen collection and handling per orders.
• Maintains a safe environment and adheres to policies and safety guidelines.
• Collaborates with providers, nurses and other team members to meet patient needs.
• Assists with QA/QI activities, audits and procedure knowledge updates.
