Qualifications

• Completion of phlebotomy training via an educational program for PBT, MA, or OJT with a minimum of 3 months experience.
• Compliance with OSHA Blood-Borne Pathogen Standards, accreditation and regulatory standards and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Blood specimen collection by venipuncture and/or micro techniques for laboratory procedures.
• Receive, accession, and distribute laboratory specimens.
• Operate POC instrumentation such as glucometers, CoaguCheck, etc.
