Labcorp in New Windsor, New York, seeks a bilingual Phlebotomist to join our team. The schedule is Mon–Fri 7:00am–1:30pm with Saturday 7:00am–11:30am. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens for various tests, enter data accurately, and assist with billing and customer service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification, and at least 1 year of experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, with willingness to travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Bilingual to join our team in New Windsor, New York .

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am – 1:30pm, Saturdays 7:00am - 11:30am

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualification:

• 1 year or more of pediatric phlebotomy experience

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication (listening, verbal, and written) skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
