A community college in Kansas is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach online courses. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in their subject area or a related field with specific graduate credits. Teaching experience and familiarity with the Canvas platform are preferred. This part-time role offers a salary of $675 per credit hour taught.
Adjunct Faculty
If you are interested in teaching in a college or university setting, it can be helpful to gain experience as an adjunct instructor. Many of our adjunct instructors hold a full-time career elsewhere, and choose to teach in our evening, weekend, and online programs so that they may have the opportunity to teach students.
Independence Community College employs adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate level courses.
Required: Master’s degree in the chosen discipline, or a master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate credits in the concentration.
Preferred: Higher education teaching experience. Experience with the Canvas learning management platform.
