Job summary

Actalent is seeking a skilled phlebotomist for an onsite role in Columbia City, IN. The position is contract to hire and requires experience with pediatric and geriatric populations in hospital, clinic, or lab settings.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling and processing, accurate patient data updates, and communicating results. Certification is preferred but not mandatory; strong attention to detail is essential.

• 1+ year of experience with Pediatrics & geriatrics in hospital/clinic/lab
• Phlebotomy certification preferred

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary.
• Update patient information accurately.
• Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.
• 1+ year of experience working with Pediatrics & geriatrics in Hospital / Clinic / Lab is Mandatory.
• Phlebotomy certification is Preferred.
