Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-analytical lab processes, ensuring accurate result reporting, and maintaining excellent patient service and confidentiality. Schedule typically includes daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Graduate.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy experience or completion of a certified phlebotomy training program.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the vision and mission of LMH Health, maintains patient confidentiality and excellent customer service skills.
• Exhibits independent judgment and initiative, updates knowledge on policies and procedures.
• Performs pre-analytical processing of lab orders and specimens and post-analytical processing of results (phone requests, faxes, charting).
• Follows procedures for ordering lab tests into the information system and handles lab billing and charging procedures.
