Sonic Healthcare USA in Houston, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our lab operations. You’ll travel between worksites to provide patient-focused care and perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy training or experience.
• A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.

Responsibilities

• Travel between worksites to provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service at a variety of locations.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
