Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. seeks a phlebotomy-trained professional to perform venipunctures and specimen collections in a hospital setting. The role requires knowledge of testing and collection requirements and operates under moderate supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification upon hire; state licensure within six months is acceptable in place of certification. Previous lab or ER experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Phlebotomy certification required upon hire; state license within 6 months may be substituted.
• Prefer prior experience as a Lab Assistant, phlebotomist, ER tech, LPN or paramedic with phlebotomy skills.
