Millennium Health in Dayton, OH seeks a Full-Time Female Specimen Collector Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves collecting blood, urine, and oral fluid specimens, and acting as a liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 9am–5:00pm. We value exceptional customer service, accuracy, and compliance with CLIA/CAP standards, with paid background checks and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist with 1+ year experience in the field (experience can substitute for certificate).
• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient blood, urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens as applicable.
• Drive between facilities as needed.
