Position: Phlebotomist – Flowery Branch, GA

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00a.m. – 6:00p.m. with a 1‑hour lunch break; rotating Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Carry out administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when required.

Phlebotomists will work in either a Patient Service Center or a client office, serving as the face of Labcorp.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program.
• Two years or more of phlebotomy experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five years or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if work experience is not available.
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
