Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Rockport, TX is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist for the first shift (7am-12pm, 25 hours/week). This role emphasizes patient care, accurate specimen collection, and reliable processing and labeling to support quality test results.

Responsibilities include venipuncture on all ages and strict adherence to safety, privacy, and data-entry standards. Prior phlebotomy experience and excellent communication are valued assets.

Qualifications

Location: Rockport, TX

Status: Part-time

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 7am-12pm

This opportunity is part-time during first shift.

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.


• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.


• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.


• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.


• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Previous phlebotomy training or experience


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you\'ve got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing


• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
