Job summary

Responsibilities

• Properly labels blood tubes immediately after collection.
• Follows infection control procedures and sterile collection protocol.
• Verifies patient identification using two identifiers.
• Completes phlebotomy rounds with good time management.
• Demonstrates proper blood collection techniques and safety devices.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized and uses PPE appropriately.
