Job summary

Labcorp in Westminster, CO is seeking a Phlebotomist - PRN to join our team for coverage at 14300 Orchard Parkway, Westminster, CO 80023. The role includes venipuncture, specimen processing, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred phlebotomy certification and 1 month or more experience. A quarterly incentive bonus program may apply, with a pay range of $21.73–$28.49 per hour.

• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - PRN to join our team for coverage at 14300 Orchard Parkway, Westminster, CO> 80023. Work Schedule: Work schedule is PRN hours during business hours based on business needs. Business Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm, position includes rotational Saturday hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 1 month or more experience as a Phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
