Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our laboratory operations on a PRN, as-needed basis.

You will provide patient-focused service, perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, collect and prepare non-blood specimens, and ensure accurate labeling and test ordering. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior phlebotomy training or experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy training or prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Basic computer and data entry skills are needed.

In this role, you will:

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
