Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Panama City, FL on a PRN basis with 3rd shift duties. The role involves obtaining blood samples for patients of all ages, handling specimens for various tests, and performing accurate data entry and billing-related tasks.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and phlebotomy training or certification, with 3 months or more phlebotomy experience and strong customer service skills. Flexibility to travel to other sites is a plus.

Qualifications

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Panama City, FL

Work Schedule: PRN working as needed on 3rd shift

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
