Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd, Laboratory in New Albany, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist for PRN (as needed) roles. Shifts and days vary, including every other Saturday from 6am to 1pm. This position works within the Laboratory team supporting patient services.

The Phlebotomist I (PST I) will collect and ensure specimen integrity, and deliver specimens and related information to the appropriate department, with on-the-job training provided for phlebotomy and patient registration or specimen processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training.
• Previous phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy certification from accredited school preferred, however can train 8 weeks on the job.
