Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the laboratory team. The role involves obtaining specimens, drawing blood, charting, and performing tasks to maintain smooth department operations within the hospital.

Minimum experience is not required, and certification by a Phlebotomy Registry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to ensure all requirements are met within three months of employment.

Job Summary

Obtains specimens, performs some laboratory tests according to prescribed laboratory policies and procedures. Responsible for blood drawing, charting, and performing any other task necessary to maintain the proper functioning of the department and the hospital.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience: No prior experience necessary.

Required Certification: Phlebotomy Registry preferred but not required.
