Job summary

St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to collect blood and other specimens for diagnostic testing in a busy hospital environment.

You will identify patients, explain procedures, perform venipunctures, and label specimens while maintaining safety standards and compassion.

A high school diploma or GED is required, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and preferred phlebotomy experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED at hire
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 90 days of hire
• Preferred 3 months phlebotomy experience in an acute care facility

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other specimens for diagnostic testing
• Identify patients and explain procedures
