Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens, and enter data while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires flexibility to work 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday 6:30am to 11:30pm, with rotating Saturdays, and may involve travel to additional sites. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of experience is preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Flexible and reliable with strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Work Schedule: 25 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 6:30am to 11:30pm, Rotating Saturday’s

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
