Job summary

Grifols in Reno, NV is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our plasma center team. The role focuses on managing donor experiences, drawing blood products safely, and maintaining strict quality and confidentiality standards.

You will operate plasmapheresis equipment, assess donor suitability, and respond to reactions while upholding safety protocols. This is a full-time on-site position with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Patient and reliable with donor care.
• Ability to follow safety and protocol.
• Willing to obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
• Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality.
• Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
• Monitor donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.
• Set up, disconnects, and operates the automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Disconnects and disposes of all contaminated disposable equipment.
