Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Per Diem to join our Wayne, New Jersey team. This casual/per diem role offers flexible hours as needed, with a focus on accurate blood collection and patient service at multiple sites.

The position requires phlebotomy training or certification and 1+ year experience, with reliable transportation and the ability to work independently or in a team. Pay ranges from $17.60 to $30.41 per hour and full benefits may apply for longer schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Per Diem to join our team at 307 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, New Jersey. Work Schedule: This is a casual/per diem position, hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards:

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication (listening, verbal, and written) skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay Range: $17.60 - $30.41 per hour

Benefits:

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
