Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Asheville, NC is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician to join our patient-centered team. This role offers 24 scheduled hours per week with partial benefits and opportunities to grow in your profession within a supportive lab operations environment.

You will perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, collect and prepare specimens, ensure proper labeling and test ordering, and uphold safety, privacy, and quality standards while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
