Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Horsham, PA. The Phlebotomist will perform blood collections and collect specimens for various tests, while providing excellent patient service.

Day-to-day responsibilities include data entry, processing billing information, and preparing specimens for testing. Travel to additional sites may be required, with a schedule Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
