Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Mentor, OH is seeking a full-time phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Operations team. You will perform venipuncture, collect and prepare specimens, and provide patient-centered service while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within a respected nationwide laboratory network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience (bonus).
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
