Job summary

Labcorp in Missoula, MT is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide excellent service to patients and healthcare partners.

This full-time role offers regular hours, opportunity for overtime, and benefits. You’ll work in a collaborative environment with potential to grow through training and certification support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
• Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
