Job summary

The candidate will work under the Cancer Center umbrella, adhering to HIPAA and infection control protocols while supporting patient flow and care delivery across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of Phlebotomy experience with venipuncture and finger sticks.
• Practical knowledge of information system operations.
• Phlebotomy certificate and/or Certification in Medical Assisting or equivalent.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine Phlebotomy in a laboratory or patient area following procedures.
• Labels specimens accurately and handles STAT specimens.
• Maintains patient privacy and HIPPA compliance in all tasks.
• Uses EPIC to review and update patient laboratory records and communicate with team.
• Stocks exam/treatment rooms and maintains supplies as needed.
