Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Draws blood competently with as little disruption as possible.
• Identifies patient using name and DOB before collection.
• Labels tubes correctly and uses appropriate color tube and volume.
• Performs patient care tasks while ensuring safety and reducing errors.
• Operates Powerchart and Pathnet for registration and test orders.
• Maintains a clean, stocked phlebotomy area and handles courier duties.
• Operates a multi-line phone system and basic lab equipment.
