Job summary

Labcorp in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking a Phlebotomist for our Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for tests, and accurately enter patient data.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma; preferred Phlebotomy certification or 2+ years' experience. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Must pass color vision test.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; flexible to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
