Job summary

Labcorp in Garland, TX (75041) seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm with possible overtime and Saturdays. You will perform blood collections, process specimens, enter patient data and assist at multiple sites as needed.

Excellent customer service and teamwork are required to succeed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma. Preferred candidates have phlebotomy experience and LabCorp exposure.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills or certification/ training from an accredited agency.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to enter patient information accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
