Job summary

Labcorp in Princeton, WV is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 12:30pm. You will perform skilled blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient service at our Patient Service Center or client offices.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3 months+ experience). Benefits and growth opportunities are provided. Travel to additional sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
